Auto Calcimeter AC 4
The Auto Calcimeter is a valuable tool used to obtain “high density” calcite equivalent measurements while drilling to distinguish between CaCO3 and non-calcite (primarily dolomite) content in cuttings. This is information is useful as a correlation tool as well as addressing completion scaling issues.
The AC 4 was designed and tested by Itasca GeoData to comply with ASTM D4373 − 21 and fully integrated with our RigFlex DAQ software.
